DIRECT ENTRY
BMU accepts:
- a) At least three ‘A’ LEVEL PASSES (Not more than one C Grade or minimum of 12points) in Biology or Zoology, Physics and Chemistry at NOT MORE THAN ONE SITTING.
- b) At least a Second-Class Upper Division from a recognized University in either B.Sc. Biological Sciences or B.Sc. Medical Sciences or Health Sciences.
UTME
BMU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes one (1) sitting to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics.
UTME SUBJECTS
BMU requires Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

DIRECT ENTRY
BMU accepts:
- a) Three (3) A/Level passes not below Grade C in JUPEB or IJMB or GCE or HSC in Physics, Chemistry and Biology including UTME entry requirements.
- b) First Degree (Second Class Honours – Upper division) in either Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, or any other related course including UTME entry requirements.
- c) ND/HND Upper Credit level in Dental Technology, Dental Therapy and Dental Surgery Techniques.
UTME
BMU requires candidates in addition to minimum entry requirements to have ‘0’ level credit passes in English
Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at not more than one (1) sitting.
UTME SUBJECTS
BMU requires Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

DIRECT ENTRY
BMU accepts:
- a) NURSES: Registered Nurses (NRN), Registered Midwives (RM), Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPN) plus five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology, at not more than two (2) sittings.
- b) NON-NURSES: B.Sc. not lower than Second Class lower in relevant programme such as: Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology, Human Nutrition, Medical Laboratory Sciences, and any other relevant programme and HND, NCE and ND with a minimum of Merit and Upper credit respectively in a relevant programme.
- c) Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Biology/Zoology, Chemistry and Physics in addition to UTME requirements.
UTME
BMU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics.
UTME SUBJECTS

- a) B.Sc. in Biological Sciences or related programmes with at least second 2nd class Lower Division
- b) ND Upper Credit in related programmes plus the UTME requirements.

- d) Candidates with AIMLS or FIMLT plus the UTME requirements.

- b) Preference will be given to the Professional Certificates of
- i) Nigeria Registered Nurse or equivalent
- ii) Own Certificate of Food Science and Applied Nutrition
iii) ND in Agriculture; d) Public Health Inspectorate Certificate

- National Diploma (ND) Upper Credit in Chemistry or any of the Sciences or Applied Sciences, e.g., Engineering, etc. or National Certificate of Education (NCE) merit upper credit.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemistry and in addition must have five SSCE/GCE or NECO ‘O’ Level credits obtained in not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
- B.Sc. Second class lower division in any of the related sciences.
- At least two ‘A’ level passes not below Grade C in
Chemistry and one of Physics and Mathematics.
UTME

more than two (2) sittings which must include English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Biology.
